Imelda is responsible for reviewing, and executing investment opportunities in our francophone target countries. She works closely with our porfolio companies to create value and deliver on our objectives.

Prior to joining the firm, Imelda was an Associate at BMCE Capital Conseil in Casablanca, Morocco where she was involved in the execution of M&A and project finance transactions across Africa. She was previously employed as an Analyst at Africa Capital Advisors, an independent advisory firm, where she was involved in a wide range of corporate finance assignments across various sectors. Imelda started her career at AFIG Funds in Dakar in 2014 as a private equity investment analyst.

She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting & Finance from Centre Africain d’Études Supérieures en Gestion in Dakar, Senegal. She also has an International Certificate in Corporate Finance Foundations from HEC Paris.

Imelda enjoys reading and listening to music. She loves to attend live comedy shows or laugh out loud while watching TV comedy shows like Blackish.
